Dulci: student bar
Dulci is our own bar, and it is probably also the best bar in town! The drinks are ridiculously cheap (you pay about half the price as you pay elsewhere, 1.00 euro for a beer) and we guarantee a magnificent atmosphere. You can find Dulci in the Tiensestraat 77, and it is open every weekday (except fridays) from 6pm and Sundays from 8pm.
Ekobar: sandwich bar
The Ekobar is Ekonomika''s own sandwich bar, where you can buy sandwiches, refreshments and snacks at very low and student friendly prices (e.g. 1.50 eur for a sandwich with cheese, ham and vegetables). The bar opens at 8.30am and closes at 6pm. You can also meet there with other students to do an assignment or play a game of pool or kicker. You can find the Ekobar in the basement of the VHI, Dekenstraat 2. There is also an entrance at the backside of the building.
Course shop
When entering the Ekobar, you can find our Course Shop or "KD" on the opposite side of the bar. There you can buy most of your books at very low prices. If you have an Ekonomika membership card, you get an extra discount. The course shop is open from Monday till Friday, from 11am untill 4pm. On Friday they close at 1 pm.
Membership card
If you want to, you can also buy a membership card. Note that this is not an obligatory to join one of our Erasmus activities. This card does however give you discount on the large parties, course notes,… You can buy your membership card (9 euro) at the Ekonomika Headquarters in the basement of Dekenstraat 2 (EKOBAR).
